My switch to the 6800XT means I'm probably going to be exploring Night City without RT or at minimum I guess, at least for the next little while.

That’s visually and stylistically such a good looking game. Still not entirely convinced by the look of the driving and the gun play, though. I won’t be getting it on release day anyway, I’ve got a considerable gaming backlog to get through. I’ll wait for the reviews and opinions on here 👍

Phew! looks like I can play at reccomended setting on my laptop, while I wait for new pcUpdated specs hot off the press, including what levels of ray tracing you can expect:
I’ve just realised that I’ve got a long weekend off work and it coincides with this game being released. I booked Friday, Monday and Tuesday and despite promising myself I wouldn’t buy any new games until I’d finished Red Dead Redemption 2... it’s very tempting to pull the trigger on this one...

Ignore the reviews saying performance is crap, remember, reviewer games had DRM attached which really hampered performance, that isn't present on the consumer release, plus the 0day patch apparently improves performance massively also.
Mrs Cooper also has a cold and serious PMS... it’s like the stars are aligning to make me play this game 😆

For those of us without systems capable of playing the game fully, you need to play the game so we can live vicariously through you!
When I initially started this thread, I was fairly confident I'd be able to play the game on launch, and that was with the November launch date. The fact I'm still waiting...yeah, I need to live vicariously through someone's experiences of the game!

The game goes live at midnight UK time according to the countdown on Steam. That'll mean the US will get it on the 9th, but we'll be the 10th.
