Absolutely understood. Whilst I'm not quite a novice, I'm not that far removed, so while I looked at the components, when I bought it, I didn't do so with any kind of expert eye.
Having exited safe mode - there being nothing else I could do, the pc has booted properly. Had it done this this morning when I switched it on, I'd have been none the wiser. I'm just wondering what else, if anything, i ought to do, other than raise the issues I've had today with PCEssentials?

I'm worried about the comments about the motherboard and cooler as I bought this system brand new from PCSpecialist.....
Unexpectedly, as I booted it again to look for lights, it has just booted into safe mode. This is after at least 30 or 40 attempts. I can't see any lights on the motherboard.

So, I am still in the process of setting up my splendid new Nexa 920 PC. All going well so far. But it arrived this morning with a fairly large box of leads, accessories and all sorts of other 'gubbins', the only one of which I've used so far is the power cord! What the heck am I supposed to...
