Doesn't help to dwell on these things. Plus the seller has accepted the return and have suggested it was dead on arrival. I won't argue that! I also tried the new cables and there was no difference.

I've replaced the PSU and still nothing, so it's definitely the GPU. It's fine! Luckily I also ordered an MSI Ventus 3x OC from Scan and it should be here in a couple of weeks. So we can consider this problem to be solved, at least for now. Do you reckon it's worth trying the PCIE cables that...

Right. I suppose I'm talking about the PCIE outputs on the PSU being faulty, not so much it's ability to supply power overall.

I've taken the SSD out, still the same issue. I noticed the bottom of the heatsink was touching the mobo because I didn't use the riser screw. I fear I might have fried it. How can I diagnose this?
