Hi There, I got my new desktop last week and unfortunately my son managed to get a crypto mining Trojan and Root kit from Minecraft mods almost immediately, so I had to reformat the machine and reinstall windows.
I am guessing that this is the cause of the problem I am facing but not 100% sure...
