Is there a way to plug in a desktop gpu to an Asus K55A? I wondered if there is some-way to plug the gpu into the pci slot inside the laptop. I would need it to be portable too. Or would it just be better going with a desktop build eventually?

Just installed a new hard drive and two more ram modules (kingston hyper x beast) and now my PC isn't booting into windows. I can't enter the bios. The machine just goes to a black screen. I wasn't wearing a static strap when handling the ram and HDD so could I have broken it? Any ideas? Thanks.
