My current PC is an OMEN by HP Desktop PC 880-p1xx. I'm not sure if anything in that would be transferrable to a new one. I can pay a few hundred as a deposit if I wait a few weeks, which sounds like it'll be a good option if I want to wait for the 3000s to come out

What are the 3000's? I don't know much about this stuff, just what I've managed to google. My budget is really based on what I can pay per month, which would be up to between 40-50.

It does the job, but there's definitely room for improvement :) How much would a more suitable monitor be?

I'm happy to upgrade the monitor at some point, just want to check that the computer specs will be relatively future-proof and able to handle high spec games
