My big game wishlist for the next year (some are already released)
Horizon Zero Dawn (reminds me somewhat of Enslaved: Odyssey to the West)
RE Village (both RE 2 remake and RE VII were outstanding so it's looking good)
Dying Light 2 (first game was awesome)
Total War: Warhammer 3 (perfect...
Good point though. Imagine unboxing and seeing you have a better version of what you thought you had... sweet, right?
It's like a certain company sending along Tangfastics with your goodies, but way better.
That said though, I do kind of like the old muscle car radiator grill looks of the...
It's not even that, nm that being in a queue is fine, first come first served with patience is the British way after all.
It's just that there seems to be no fast and accurate collation between stock and sold. What has annoyed me is that I've made or amended an order, message upon proceeding...
You had me at smoked salmon and seafood. Eating sounds good up there.
Now, would you believe it... I'm Berkshire born and bred (a hive of scum and villainy known as Slough in fact) and currently live just over the border in Surrey... fair enough if not far enough lol, but... I've never been to...
Kippers, with or without scrambled egg, is fine fare (but then I say that about any decently sized and satisfying meal, I'm simple like that lol) though it's been a very long time since. That was kind of my step-grandfathers thing and he passed almost 20 years ago now.
Not so keen on the black...
Ah yes, totally. My mum is also a boss when it comes to roasties too. Same method.
Only person I know that does the same and as well (almost anyway) is my gf's mum.
Nice word, scrubbled. Never heard it before though, is it a regional thing?
It instantly reminded me a bit of how my old mum does chips. Spuds get sliced, boiled a bit then drained and knocked about about a bit and into the oil. Soft inside, crispy out and kind of feathered around the edges is...
Hopefully. I won't be amending the order any further than as it is now.
As I mentioned last night I managed to source a GPU from elsewhere, almost by chance, and it just so happened to be the make and model that I'd have chosen (Sapphire Nitro+) had I gone for an AMD card via normal ways and...
Agreed. Done right it's damn good, as good as Chowder or Gumbo from various parts of the US but the Baxters one, while among the better canned soups itself, is a poor try compared to the proper stuff.
While B+J don't match up to Haagen Dazs for me, I must admit they've had some flavours I do miss... iirc Chubby Hubby, Sofa So Good and Fossil Fuel were not only good mixes of things but not too OTT for sweetness etc.
Getting either brand is a rarity in our house though, all things in moderation...
It was the window that pops up after you click on 'proceed'.
I've had it question other things before; PSU wattage, amount of fans ordered vs number of slots in case and case fans already installed etc etc. This was the first time it warned about the GPU length leaving no room re the case with a...
Just amended my build to have no GPU (got a good offer out of the blue right after my last comment here)
Let's hope that PCS can get builds sans GPU out any quicker than ones with.
And another thing I just took a look, via amending order, to see what the down low is on ETA of new stock...
Here's the thing, I already had the 4000D Airflow case, H100i Capellix AiO and 6800XT Merc locked in with no probs over a week ago except what I mentioned in my PS above.
NOW it tells me...
Seems like we both had the same idea. I actually amended to a 6900XT Merc when I originally wanted a 6800XT but both options I found to be preorder only after I ordered/amended to them. Seems that the connect between stock and no stock/preorder only is slow. I actually tried a few mock builds...
Solid fans, the LL120's. Only issue with them, maybe from the pov of RGB perfectionists, is that they aren't as visible from both angles/exhaust side as some other Corsair fans (HD, QL and SP Elite ones for example) Of course, if they're backed up against an AiO rad etc it's not such an issue...
I'm going with the idea (as mentioned above) of a smaller but fast, say 250-500Gb, m.2 for the OS and apps and a bigger, maybe not as fast one for game installs (especially compared to HDD's aso as game loads these days are getting crazy long)
And then after that, yeah, SATA SSD/HDD etc for...
Aha, a TW: Warhammer thread.
Must say a fair part of the gaming capability that I'm upgrading for (just ordered a PC here) is to get ahead of Warhammer 3 with a lot more gaming horsepower (and a resolution jump too)
Combining TW with WFB was a stroke of genius and tbh a great marriage. Been a...
Only real issue I ever had on XBGP was with Halo MCC.
DL'd the core part of the package just fine but no matter what I did it wouldn't DL the individual games. I gave it a couple of days, nothing happened, got fed up and uninstalled. The next day it started DLing Reach and ODST (which had both...
For all that's bad about EA I was still happily surprised to get EA Play with XBGP.
Now I can play the Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Crysis and Mirrors Edge games I missed (yes, I missed all of them... yes, I know... long story)
But yeah, aside from that EA are gits.
Good news.
Already threw down on a 6800XT though. However, it is for getting as much out of big games at 3440x1440 144Hz and 4K 120Hz as I can for absolutely as long as it can eke it out... at least 3 years or more. I kind of went the same way with the other specs too. Think I got some PC...
