pretty sure Strix has two less power delivery phase compared to Strix, bit worse audio, bit worse capacitors, does not have CMOS reset. and has less ports. It is small things, but the power delivery phase is in my opinion important for 5950x. For anything else strix is more than enough

if you gonna go for 5950x i would suggest upgrading to Hero board, otherwise for 5900x strix is good enough

my parts have been ready for 4 weeks now, i am literally just waiting for workforce. It is because of the liquid build. Me switching to 3080TI had no effect on my build at all. I had before 3090 Strix and knew it is ready for me for 3 weeks.

regards sound, i suggest asking @SpyderTracks as he is local audiophile. However as far as i know. Sound cards are not a way to go for serious sound production or listening. You will have much better results opting for external DACs
