A good example is the Asus Strix 3090 vs other 3090s. That GPU is using high end parts and capacitors, it is not using those that were known to cause some issues. It has better power delivery, 3 6 pin connectors to deliver power. It has bios that allows up to 480W of power draw, in comparison...
the Asus versions are marginally better than other cards with the components, performance and cooling solution. But they are the priciest one too. For most users it does not matter which you choose, so it is not much worth paying extra
she also said she will be happy with a wine gum ring xD xD xD She is the easiest to please lowest maintenance girl i have ever known xD Give her food and hugs and she is happy like puppy xD
she currently has an HP prebuilt . It is the usual, no name mobo, no name ram, no name PSU (at least it says it is gold certified), OEM HP branded 2070 with the crappiest smallest cooler i have ever seen and i7-8700.
The case is a black box, with literally zero intake, not even an option...
xD xD hahahaha :D
Well to be fair. I was gonna have apartment built in my home country, but due to corona and me not finding a job, i had to cancel that and got my 20% deposit back. This is the reason why i am buying new pc, she was like go treat yourself.
Despite the money being there for...
hell yeah i am :D why do you think i am even able to spent 6k on a pc xD and i am allowed to go for switch pro and PS5 if i can get my hands on it xD
She has her own switch too, and plays a bit on ps4 sometimes :D
Also, if the PC gonna be flipped upside down. It is possible to flip the way the fans are completely. Have the Top, now bottom be intake and the back or front be outtake. Bunch of cases have bottom intake anyway, so this would be an option as long as there would be adequate space for air to...
yeah, technically gaming is the reason we even met :D
She does play mostly old games tho. ESO FF14 and small games and emulators, minecraft and such. So for now she does not need upgrade, she also only has 1080p screen.
We are waiting for market to stabilize, or next gen before we get her xx70...
actually. my GF is getting my whole old system. So this old gal is gonna have to work for few more years :P
And yes, that GPU definitely won silicon lottery, i am not even pushing it to max. I know i can run +150 core and +800 memory on it.
i dont know what they did with this cooler on 1080ti strix, but it blows my mind how good it is. xD i have mine set so it only turns the fans on when it is at 55 degrees. then it turns them on at 40% at 55, and rapidly ramps up at 65% at 60 degrees.
Some games never even turn the fans on. And...
in 4 years i had my 1080TI strix, i never run it more than 65% xD the first time i run it 100% it literally scared me xD it was sooooooo loud like a jet engine xD
this has been debunked sooooooo many times, yet people still say this.
Yes, hot hair rises, in static environment.
PC has fans inside, which cause airflow and turbulences. The miniscule effect of air rising is several hundreds time overthrown by even the lowest rotating fans. As soon as you add...
just wait for the 3070 TI benchmarks, now that gonna be dissapointing..... 2 GPU clusters and 2 RT cores more than 3070, doubt the faster ram will help anything. Performance gonna be barely higher than 3070 for 20% more money
that is not entirely true. What is important is not have pump at the highest point. As long as either, one point of the radiator, or some of the pipes are above the pump, the air bubbles should hang there, instead of the pump
