Very sad news, as other people have mentioned he was one of those directors who really thought outside the box.

I went ahead with the upgrade to W11, which went smoothly & needed just the odd tweak afterwards. It wanted to automatically open some software on startup I don't normally use so had to find where to turn them off.

My computer at work upgraded it's self to Windows 11 without issue.

Blade Runner was the second Blu-Ray I bought, after ET, another the other regarded Science Fiction film from 1982.
It's a shame the original release of Blade Runner was messy with the infamous narration, but eventually Ridley Scott managed to get it looking the was it should.
