Yeah I know thats a rumour going around atm however if that does end up being the case I'll just go to AMD cause 1000w is ridiculous requirement and I believe Nvidia would aim to lower this before release as it would put a lot of people off buying.

on the website when you go to build custom PC it asks you to pick AMD or Intel and then gives you loads of options which one of those do you pick to be able to pick the i7 with the 8gb RAM cause the ones that have the i7 available to choose the min RAM you can pick is 32GB which I don't need...
interesting, what monitor is good for 1440p? i had a quick look online and they're all £500+ and I need two so that's just too much for me right now but that's good to know.... might be worth waiting for the monitor upgrade as well in that case...
Sorry I mistyped I already have an i7 in my current spec and I wouldn't be looking at changing monitors for a while as I only got these recently, is it still worth doing it?

Hi all, I'm an avid gamer and still running the GTX 1070 with an i7. Whilst it does the job I'm really feeling the effects of having an outdated PC due to FPS drops in newer games so looking to upgrade. My current system lasted me a solid 5.5 years so I think it's time. Ideally want this machine...
