Ah, I didn’t see that you posted it in the other thread. I will try SignalRGB. Will this happen to conflict with iCue by any chance as my PC has 3 Corsair iCue fans.
So I’ve got a question regarding the motherboard software, especially for gigabyte motherboards. My question is, is the software needed for my PC or will be fine to leave it uninstalled as I uninstalled it a while ago due to having to issues with it but can no longer control the RGB lights for...
Pretty sure it’s not a cooling issue anyway cause when gaming it was only sitting around 75°C & plus it has latest bios update with intel default settings applied.
I ended up backing up the data I had on my external driving & using that instead to reinstall windows from the bootable drive as my PC starting experiencing issues again & had about 4 BOSDs. I also turned off the option for GCC in the bios so it won’t install it. And downloaded drivers from...
Will have to see if the issue I was getting pops up again as of now it hasn’t. And I don’t unfortunately only a 2TB external hard drive but it contains data on it. Using a CD/DVD wouldn’t be another option either as my pc doesn’t have a disc drive.
It was my only option cause I didn’t have a spare USB drive to use it as a bootable USB drive. If there’s anymore issues with my PC I will buy one & reinstall windows that way.
Last time I made the mistake of using GCC but will do them from windows updates this time but as of now none are showing up as I believe it’s already installed them upon reinstalling windows.
I made sure it wasn’t installed this time round. None of the updates from GCC have been installed as it’s unclear yet if that was the cause of the issues.
It was a clean install. GPU drivers I always install via the Nvidia App or the website & this is my device manager. Its showing all the drivers are already installed
Yes it is. Since the reinstall the problems seems to have gone, just wasn’t sure if the cause is using GCC to install drivers

Should any drivers be updated in the GCC software or via windows. I had to recently reinstall windows on my PC due to some issues & they were previously installed via this software so wasn’t sure if this was the main reason for the issues my pc was having.
