When gaming, I have to have my laptop plugged into the mains. This is because on battery, the motherboard limits the power usage, so high intensity programs suffer a little (at least I think that's the reason...).
This is not a problem, except recently, it has started to do it...
I've often noticed that when I'm playing a video, or playing a game, my laptop gets warmer and the fan goes a lot faster. It'll often do this when I plug it in also. What is the reason for this and can I stop it?
Just to be clear, I don't think there's anything wrong with the laptop. It works...
