16" Recoil Noise Levels

I am thinking of replacing my 5 year old (2020 vintage) Octane Series: 17.3, i9-9900K, RTX 2070 - 8.0GB, 32GB Corsair 2666MHz, 2 x 2TB onboard SSD and 2 x 4TB sata SSD. What I like about this machine is the fast processor, the built in storage 12TB total and the number of USB connections 6 in total what I dislike is the fan noise when rendering video it's a bit like Concorde taking off. (The laptop is on a cooling stand with 3 fans which are quiet).

My choices seem to be the Recoil18" which has 4 onboard SSD slots but less USB connections or the Recoil 16" that has 2 onboard SSD slots, less USB connections but a water cooling option.

So my question is "how much of a difference is there with noise levels using the water cooling"?
Am I still going to be listening Concorde taking off or does it make a real difference.

Thanks for any replies.

It makes a big difference to my Recoil 17.

When running MS Flight Simulator, without water cooling it sounds like a vacuum cleaner and thermal throttles reducing performance. With water cooling it's nice and quiet, just a hum from the water pump and performance does not drop either.
