Now available to order, we have launched the 17.3" Omega Supreme - probably the world's most powerful laptop!

Based on a socket 2011 desktop CPU and capable of accepting 32GB of RAM with the GTX 680M, GTX 670MX or HD 7970M is SLI/Crossfire configuration, this is an absolute beast!

This is also by no means a small laptop, and the portability is somewhat limited by the size, weight and power requirements. But for those who want only the very best - look no further!

Buggering hell.

That reminds me of a lappy I had about 8 years ago now back in the days of the Pentium 4. It had a desktop-class P4 2.8GHz. Nice and fast but almost no battery life, heavy (I could stun burglars with it) and after prolonged use the back of it just below the screen was painfully hot to the touch. It also suffered from foulsome build quality as well; the screen would flick on and off unless it was open at just the right angle, the keyboard went all wrong, and suchlike. Scrapped it in 2007.

When I levered it open to salvage what bits still worked, I noticed it used full-size desktop class DIMMs rather than SODIMM memory sticks as well.

And as Tom says, the Fat Cow would object if I were to buy this.

Christ, very tempting for a self birthday present. Could pass my Inferno down my nephew and get one of these.
