About to order a W230ST

Spec as follows. So excited about this little beauty!

I struggled to pick between the Intel 6300 and Killer 1103 wireless adapters. I've heard good things about both of them but after some reading some people were suggesting the Killer card has driver/stability issues but that it's also potentially faster than the Intel and has greater range. hapy to be swayed either way.

I'm guessing the step up to a 4800mq isn't worth the additional £140? It would still be within my budget but as this machine is for gaming I'm not sure the additional 300 Mhz is really going to make any noticeable difference?

Also unsure of whether to pick between the HyperX 3K and Intel 520 SSD...

Any comments before I order? Thanks for your input!

For your budget I would suggest the vortex IV LE with a better gpu (gtx 770m). I have the killer 1202 wireless card and I have never experienced any driver issues.

Thanks both very much for the responses. I must admit I'm swaying towards the Killer adapter and so your feedback about it is reassuring.

Keynes - I'm after something with a lot of poke but that is also quite portable. The Inferno seems just a tad on the small size (not to mention it hasn't had the Haswell update yet) and the 15.6" laptops feel just a little to big for my needs. It's essentially to replace my Asus 1215n (and gaming on an Atom/Ion 2 isn't much fun let me tell you).

The 770m does look much stronger than the 765m which is a bit of a shame but I guess the heat output would be too much for the 13.3" chassis. As long as the 765m can pull smooth frame rates at 1080p with a fairly high level of detail I'll be happy. I guess with the pixel density this panel has I can possibility get away without needing Anti Aliasing.

It is a new chassis, I would have preferred a slightly lower native resution with the gtx 765m to guarantee high fps in demanding games.
