For the the PC the maximum is probably around 1000-1200, I’ve got two benQ monitors atm, don’t know the specs of them but can get any recommended monitors really as been looking to upgrade anyways.
thanks

Will have a look around cheers! One last quick question, would I be better off buying a pc such as the HP Omen? Or buying the one above/similar?

Thanks! How much extra you think it would be to have a high end 1440p one with the high end graphics card?

Are they better than what’s available now? What’s the best available right now for what I’m looking for?
and so is there no point getting one unless you have a really expensive monitor then?

We're still awaiting full specs on the 3060 but that should eat up 1440p 144Hz with ease, in theory. Rumoured to be around the same power as the current 2080...

If you don’t have a compatible monitor, then you won’t use the card to it’s potential, it would be no different to using a lower end card suitable to your monitor as the monitor will bottleneck the card.

For the 3070 or 3080 you have 2 options:

Superwide:

4k 144hz:

Obviously there are more options, these are just widely recommended options.

The min card i’ll be getting will be the 1660 I put in the spec list at the top, but might possibly get a better one still trying to understand what I need for what I’m wanting. Could spend up to £1000 on a monitor if I needed to but wouldn’t really want to haha!

The card pairs with the monitor, they go hand in hand. So what GPU you need depends on what monitor you’re pairing it with.

These are the monitors I have atm.

Will these be able to run with the 1660 or any higher alright?
1660 Super would be suitable, 2060 super if you want headroom, but no higher.
