I was leaning to the 13" but was worried the 860m could be outdated quite fast.... I want something quite sleek and light though...

depends what you intend to use it for, but id certainly avoid the v300 SSD, its super slow (for a ssd) and the hyper x or Samsung 840 are well worth the extra to upgrade to.

Thanks. Do you think the 3gb gfx ram is an issue vs the 6gb model.

I want a laptop that's fairly light and portable and the vortex seems a fair bit more chunky
