ASUS® P9X79 LE single beep while running?

Hey, Recently my motherboard while running (ingame & doing other stuff) has started to bleep once, nothing else happens, but i have not noticed it before, is this something i should be concerned about or need to do something to resolve it?

You sure it's the mobo? Usually beeps aren't used when it's running. Are you running Asus AI Suite? Perhaps it's something in there chiming?

thanks for the quick reply, tbh im not sure, AI isnt showing up on the toolbar box on the bottom right hand side, so i am assuming its not running (it kept crashing on start up so i have just left it off as i dont want to mess around with it too much (dont want to create any problems )

Ok, no worries... I'd guess it was a program in windows that was causing the beep, rather than the motherboard. Have a look and see what's running by doing ctl+alt+delete and try to see if one of those is showing a pop up or notification at the times when the beep occurs.
