Hi everyone,

I am currently having problems with a PC I recently bought from the site around two months ago. While playing Minecraft or Skyrim, sometimes even just watching videos I get a blue Screen of death error with Bad pool header.

I have noted down the Technical information on the screen although I am not sure if it will help resolve the problem.

Technical Information: *0x00000019(0x0000000000000021, 0xFFFFFA800D83E000, 0x00000000000016C0, 0x006E0020006D0065)

The specifications of my rig are also written below, just in case this could also be a factor for my issues.

Case COOLERMASTER HAF 912 PLUS MID TOWER GAMING CASE

Processor (CPU) AMD PHENOM II X4 965 (3.40GHz/8MB CACHE/AM3) - BLACK EDITION

Thanks in advance for any help with this issue I am currently having.

Just looking up your error have you updated/installed any new drivers recently?

Bad pool head either means Bad device driver or, more typically, a bad RAM module.

I probably have but I am unaware as to which ones it may be as its been happening a few times recently. It could be my xbox 360 controller, but i just thought they came as plug and play with windows 7?

That error normally pops up with bad drivers or hardware, RAM is sometimes a causing factor. When you put the xbox controller in did it say installing blah blah blah?

If your drivers look fine it could be a ram problem, you should contact PCS about that.

I mean there's no like yellow question marks in drivers so they should be fine. Perhaps I shall phone PCS on monday.

Thanks for your help

I have the same problem with my Xbox controller. Unplugged it and never had the problem again. Try updating drivers for that.

Once again I am still having errors with this, I even had my Xbox 360 controller unplugged this time but whilst running minecraft I got the bluescreen again. I have tried to google the problem, but there is so much information on the error and it always seems different for other people. Is there some sort of crash report I can upload or view to find the cause of the problem?
