Yup I did with my first rig.

Unfortunately it seems as though PCS are fairly busy at the minute :(. They'll get onto it as soon as they can though!

Mine started getting built on the 13th working day and it only took 2 days to get build and tested. Its due to be with me tomorrow (Friday), well that's what my DPD tracker says anyways.

Only just ordered mine today... I know the build times are long so not expecting it for a while. Plus I ordered the new GTX 980 so not even sure they'd have it in yet!

Received my laptop after 27 days/19 working days. The estimate at the time of purchase was 14 days/7-9

working days(noticed many say 7-9 days). I knew it was unlikely I would get it in 2 weeks, more like 3 weeks.

Anyway, I received it after 4 weeks- the school/uni rush that he said didn't happen last year, was pushing

lead-times by 3-5 days.

I had a quick look on these forums and found my wait wasn't that bad after all compared to others. A few

forum members were suggesting pay for fast-track(one member had 4,500 posts since joining- 3 posts per day, doesn't he have anything better to do!).

Unfortunately when someone pays for fast-track, the person who thought an estimate of 7-9 days was acceptable

gets pushed back, another pays for fast-track, pushed back again...until pcs deem it close to 30 days and

can't push it back no more.

I think their prices are as good as anyone's. But what worries me and it would seem others- a problem and it

had to be returned. If they make you wait 1 month when you purchase, how long will they make you wait if you

have to return it for repair? Unless it's an expensive fault to the cpu/gpu/ram I'll be taking this to my

trusted PC specialist shop in my local town.

The laptop seems good quality, the same basic case/keyboard/speakers as another leading online competitor.

Since I can get similar spec desktops for around the same price, I'll be looking elsewhere for my desktop

purchase.

Do you not think that anyone who has 4500+ posts deserves a little more credit than 'having nothing better to do'? The majority of those posts will be helping people who would otherwise be ripped a new one on the high street by a push salesman/end up buying the wrong machine. I think its pretty low to be lambasting someone for daring to take time out of their lives to help others free of charge. Regardless how you feel about PCS do not take it out on anyone who bothers to give up free time to help out random people, we have nothing to do with the lead times and I'm sure advising someone to fast track if they need it asap is fairly sensible...

Finally dispatched today, annoyingly no one is gonna be home until after 4pm tommorow, gonna give DPD a call and ask if there is any chance (unlikely but it is worth a go) whether they can try and deliver between 4 and 6, if not gonna have to hope they try my neighbor and that they are in, if not gonna have to wait until Wednesday.

Mine was built last Wednesday and went into testing on Friday. Hoping it will be QCd and dispatched today too! When was yours tested and QCd?

I see people complaining about problems with PCS laptops but I don't see many complaints about PCS desktops, which is why I got them to build me a new desktop. I ordered mine on Friday and today is the third working day and it has entered Pre-Production today. So as long as I get it within the next month or so that's fine, but if it comes early then I'm not going to complain! :D

I am now on 13 working days. I was told 3 days ago my PC was going into building that day (which it didn't) and 2 e-mails i have sent since have been ignored...

I understand the delays but I would appreciate being given a reasonable estimate rather than getting lied to then ignored which is pretty much what has happened.

Well I ordered mine on 19/09 and I got an email this morning saying it's being dispatched. Didn't pay for fast track either! 5 working days it has taken very happy hopefully no problems with it when it arrives!

I have not. I have spoken on the 'live chat' and e-mailed customer service several times.

On monday i was told

'I have checked your position in the build queue and your system should go into building today or early tomorrow and will be with you by the end of the week'
