Constant BSOD's

I have been experiencing constant BSOD's for about 3/4 days now, chkdsc came out with no problems, DISM and sfc /scannow supposedly repaired the corrupt files but hasn't worked so far so I reset my system and reinstalled windows and that has brought some stability but the BSOD's still occur. I have updated all the drivers I see from Device manager and my drivers for the graphics card (nvidia) and my mouse (via razer synapse) have been uninstalled via the windows reset. I will also attach some dump files if they will help. Please just ask if you need more information. I have chrome as my default browser and as to the windows reset, steam has been completely uninstalled, if that was the source of the problem. Booting in safe mode kind of worked, but sometimes that had BSOD's.

Did you do a full reinstall via an ISO boot, or did you reset windows from within windows?

All the bsods relate to NTOSKRNL.exe which does suggest something to do with memory perhaps. Worth doing a full minimum of 8 passes with memtest which you can load onto a bootable usb device:

It was from the advanced startup options menu which I guess is windows?? I'll perform the memtest asap.

Might also be best to do a full reinstall from an ISO as reinstalling via windows is a bit iffy imho. But lets see what memtest comes up with first.

Do I have do to the full 8 passes? I’m already on 2 and there are errors, I’ll leave it running overnight but judging by what I see now (112 errors at pass 2/4) I feel this isn’t going to go well and might as well be into RMA territory.

I'd suggest taking out all sticks but 1 and testing them individually. Use the same slot to test all 4 sticks.

I'd second this, it sounds like you may have a bad dimm there. By testing each one individually and trying to boot the PC, you should find which dimm is causing the issues. I think memtest also points out which dimm the errors stem from.

And I'll third it. That's about as clear an indication of a RAM issue as you'll get. Testing the cards one at a time is the next step. :)

Here's the complete test with all the sticks, I don't know how to put the html file into Vbulletin but here's what it is.

I'm going to do what you lot suggested, but what should/can I do when I find out the faulty dim responsible? Should I note that I found out the problem using the forum's help (very grateful by the way you lot are great:) ) and my own testing?

Yes, if you let PCS know and give them a link to this thread, they'll be able to see what you've done.

BTW, even if you're not 100% sure you're still in warranty with PCS, you'll definitely have warranty with the manufacturer so you're covered either way, but definitely start with PCS.

Gotcha thanks for the help, I’m testing the dims now but I’m still under warranty so I might just ask for a replacement.

Again so very grateful for the help.

Right I've hit a bit of a conundrum now, I tested each stick in slot 1 and it boot cleanly and each one was stable. I am currently testing if it was a faulty mobo memory slot but I've done a round of testing with one stick on each slot and it booted fine.

I have no idea what's going on. I searched some stuff up on my mobo and there were some reports that it would cause instability with all 4 slots occupied but when they took them out it was stable. I'm going to RMA them anyway to make sure but I would like a second opinion on this. Thanks in advance

Yeah, I would RMA it and just say that it failed a memtest, then at least PCS know where to test.
