Defiance 17 no fingerprint scanner?

I recently got my new laptop but I noticed there's no fingerprint scanner. Is that right?

There is a fingerprint scanner, but the software may not be installed correctly.

Are you on Windows 10 by any chance?

I am on windows 10 but I meant a integrated fingerprint scanner. It doesn't have a fingerprint scanner on it. It has the fingerprint scanner software (BioExcess?) but no actual fingerprint scanner lol.
It's the Defiance 17" laptop. The pictures show there is no scanner, I called them up and they said it doesn't have one but when I checked on the manual it also had the fingerprint scanner and the detailed specification tab for the laptop said it had one.
They removed it after I gave PCS a call.
The 15" model does come with one but the 17" doesn't seem to have one despite that.
When I go on the downloads page it does say the fingerprint scanner is (optional).

Yes, both to do with fingerprint scanner.
