Disappearing hard drive

Hi guys. Having some trouble with my PC. My hard drive- 1TB Caviar green keeps disappearing randomly. My pc makes the disconnected device sound and boom. My games music and photos are gone.

I have my PC open at the moment and have disconnected/reconnected all the cables to and from the drive itself and it'll show for about 2 minutes. Then an error screen with invalid I Drive comes up and it's gone again

Any help with this and fixing it?

All fixed by the amazing team at PC Specialist Help Line! Looks like the SATA cable gave up, and their sending me a pair out for free. Guys, your customer service is flawless, so many industries should learn how to treat valued customers from you guys. Thanks again.

I have the same problem - My D drive disappeared from File Explorer, not visible on Disk Manager and not found at the command prompt. It did come back for a few minutes after a restart (and I could read all my files) but then disappeared again. Can anyone help? I am still well within my 3 year warranty. (Apart from this my PCSpecialist PC has been brilliant!)
