Does anyone pay via contactless?

I'm just asking because my debit card has stopped working!

I used to pay contactless quite a lot (morning coffee etc) and after a while it became very weak (had to pretty much rub it over 3-4 times before it worked) and then eventually it just stopped.

Now I have to put my card into the card reader and physically TYPE in my PIN. I don't know what kind of crazy stone-age world I've gone back to, but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem?

Sounds like the battery ran out, call em up and ask for a new one. I don't think you can buy them on the highstreet, very specialised bits of kit, definitely have to call up and ask for a new one to be sent out. Though I guess you could ask in a couple of shops anyway, cant do any harm... [/sarcasm]

But if you are looking for serious advice, I cant help you as my bank doesn't even issue contactless cards yet... Best get a new one sent out.

Haha! I called them up and within about 5 minutes they had dispatched a new card. Very pleased with the service!
