Good spot, no one should still be on 7 as it's been out of support for a few years now but I know there will still be some.

@Scott from what I could make out it was no more free upgrades from anything before 10, so 8.1 is also included

Most of the business is on laptops now. It's only the odd workstation that's still in desktop format, for specific engineering usage and applications (Quadro GPUs etc). I managed to finagle one a year or so ago. High end kit, dual CPUs etc, I think this is the reason for them not transitioning yet. The work involved to vet all the combinations would be significant.

yeah, the Uni I used to work at was like that as well, and was also staying on 7
