game wont start

I downloaded WarINC from steam,but it wont start,
a small window pops up "performing first time setup"disappears and thats it.
can anyone help me out.

Started on it last night. Same old same old really. "First time set up etc", few more pop ups for permissions, and in.

Hmm, does seem an odd one, as you'd think it would get to the game, and then fail if there were any issues with the install.

Maybe delete and install again?

Thanks DeD,I was hoping for some quick fix to save doing that as I have quite a poor download speed,
well,compared to some i've seen here,but it seems like my only option.

you've probably already checked it, but could it be your firewall ?

i had to allow like 23802983092 things for it to work >.<

At least its only 1GB, so if you do have to reDL, it isnt the biggest

That's true,downloading again now,I'll report back.
Firewall isn't blocking it Monkey,not sure about the 23802983091 other things though.

Downloading again didn't fix it,but turning UAC back on did,
which i find strange,because i had to turn it off a while ago to get another steam game to work.
