GPU installation

Hello,

I would like to buy a new workstation without GPU and install one that I already have.
I noticed that the processor I want to buy (i7-6900k) doesn't have an integrated GPU.
That means that I will not have a monitor signal until the GPU is installed.
So my question is...
will I be able to have video signal just plugging in the GPU (before the installation of the driver)?

sorry for the very beginner level question.

I would suggest you call PCS before ordering to talk over your options. If the i7 has no on-chip GPU then PCS will not be able to test the PC and that will be a showstopper in itself.
