Hello guys I want any feedback, opinions or comments for my overkill gaming build

One thing to note is that I am waiting for the 7000X3D cpus to come out and I will definitely get one of those instead of the 'placeholder' I have below, I will be getting either the Ryzen 7 7800X3D or the Ryzen 9 7900X3D depending on gaming benchmarks and reviews, I'm open to any feedback, please let me know. One of my concerns is if the case is good enough or if it's gonna have any issues (bending) with the power adaptor on the 4090. Let me know

Budget is not an issue*
For monitor I will either go with the
LG 27GR95QE-B 1440p/240hz thats coming out soon or the ASUS PG27AQN 1440p/360hz
and will probably get a 4k one at some point in the future too

If you can provide the link that's at the bottom of the list it makes it way easier for us to suggest from your starting point, rather than starting from scratch.

I would recommend having a 500GB Samsung 980 as the primary drive with the 4TB Firecuda as the secondary. This promotes better file structure etc and means you will keep the primary drive trim. The motherboard can take more M2 drives, if you wanted you could consider the 990 from Samsung for the secondary drive as well (if you want more drives, and the fastest).

I don't think 1000w RMx is going to be enough. I would consider either the 1200 or 1600w PSUs for the 4090 tier.

You don't need the premium paste. The Corsair coolers have good paste pre-applied and it saves any pasting woes.

Otherwise it looks good, the 7900X3D is my go-to depending on the costs. I think it's going to knock it out the park.

I would re-consider your monitor selection btw. Unless you are an elite gamer you're not going to see anything past 120hz. The 144+hz is all marketing hype and nonsense as far as us mere mortals are concerned. Even more so at 1440p, it's just a numbers game. In your shoes I would be far more likely to opt for a 4k system to make use of the 4090.

Thanks for your recommendations, I've changed my m.2 options and power supply to the ones you recommended, and also removed the unneeded thermal paste option. I'm still looking for monitors so we will see what I end up landing on (Updated my original post with the new specs and the link too)

2 questions, my currrent system with one of the 3D V Cache CPUs will have a total TDP of 770-780W, I even get a checking your specification with the higher TDP Zen 4 cpus, do you think the higher PSU is necessary or just a better be safe kind of thing?

Lastly, I don't get an option to put more m.2 SSDs into the system, is that something I'd have to contact PCS for? Only more SATA/HDD options

Unfortunately the TDP calculators aren't accurate. They don't take into account transient spikes or the maximum power draw of the CPU/GPU. This is something that always frustrates me as it's so much easier to sort at the start rather than down the line.

You would need to contact PCS to get the additional M2 drives, or you could purchase them and fit them yourself :)
