How to enable Edge Swipes on the Vortex IV Touchpad?

Hi guys,

I've had a quick look on the net, but have only found Synaptics answers to do with Synaptics pointing devices. From what I can tell the touchpad on the Vortex IV isn't a Synaptics device, so the drivers won't work.

I want to enable to touchpad swipe gestures, such as swipe in from the left to switch to the most recently used app on Windows 8. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? And if so, how do I do it?

Thanks guys!

Hi radiocaf - if you look in the full version of the Vortex manual (PDF copy on the Drivers and Utilities disk that came with the laptop) pages 2-13 to 2-17 (Touchpad Configuration for Models A, C, D & E) this will take you through configuring and using the Touchpad, including the gestures you can use with it

Thank you, it turns out it is a Synaptics device, I'm so used to having pre-made laptops that I'm expecting all the drivers and bloatware to be pre-installed on this, my first custom built laptop. I better get installing then lol. Thanks :)
