Icons Blank after windows update

I wonder if others have had the same issue, windows updated last night and about a third of my desktop icons went blank they still worked but they had lost their graphics if you get my drift I'm on windows

Version 24H2
Installed on ‎05/‎10/‎2024
OS build 26100.3915
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.83.0

KB5055627 was the update.

I've had this before a long time ago.

Mine randomly disappear now & then, and I have to delete it and reinstate the desktop shortcut from the game installer.

Did read something about corruption of thumbnail cache, but none of the fixes did anything for me.

Yes I looked on YouTube and the fixes there didn't work I had to put new icons which is a pain in windows yet another blooming click 11
