Installing a msata into a Vortex III

Hi all,

It's been just over 2 years since I've bought my vortex III (p170em) from PC Specialist and I'm happy to say that the laptop is still running great without any problems!

I am considering putting a msata ssd into my laptop but really have no idea of where the hard drive goes in this laptop so have been reluctant to buy one.

If anyone else knows or can provide a tutorial on how to install one of these ssd's into the vortex III I would greatly appreciate it.

Remove the battery and bottom cover.

Photo of my Vortex III. https://app.box.com/s/ye6yfdxat969ez5rih31 The connector is under where it says 'TV Tuner card'. Ignore the words TV Tuner card, that is obsolete. Undo the screw and use it to attach the card.
