Keyboard Heat on Screen

Hi all,

I have just had my laptop delivered and I have been contemplating using a separate monitor to play games etc, but I know the top of the laptop and parts of the keyboard get to around 45 degrees (which is stated by the website) and I was wondering if I kept the laptop closed would the heat damage the screen?

I'm sure that high end laptop's like your one were never designed to be running with the screen down. I think if you did it would cause cooling issuse's if ran for long term.

I've never had an issue with the Octane III running this way, something I've never considered to be honest, but I would check with PCS just in case.
