Laptop just freezes every now and then

I have a ACER Nitro gaming laptop. every mow and them just freezes, have to hold down the power button then try to attempt to restart this can take a number of times you can here it trying to start then stops. Then it will fire up and the fans are going mad, fans go berserk then settles down. Re installed windows and fully updates. Any ideas. I have 256gb ssd drive and a 2TB hard drive.
Any ideas?

Its not something we can really discuss here sadly given this forum is owned by PCSpecialist and its not a PCS laptop. Tomshardware (or similar) might be able to give you some advice here, or perhaps the Acer forums?
