Hi guys, looking to order a new laptop for university but had a quick question regarding Windows 7. Basically I opted out of Windows 7 merely to save cost and switch to Linux as it comes with pre-installed software (Word, spreadsheets etc) which will assist me in my uni work and obviously I would need to invest an extra 60-80 pounds for microsoft student if I had windows 7 totalling around the 150 mark. How would I go about installing Linux when I receive my laptop? Is it a simple task? I was planning to do it via a USB. Here is my current spec I would be ordering;
