basically i want the pc for medcore gaming for playing games like bf3, mw3 and swtor, £775 pritty much top of my price range really, got the webcam so i can skype and also gives me a mic, atm i have a laptop so its all built in but finally decided time to, step gaming up a gear and stop playin every game on min settings.

also can stretch to a radeon 6950 if people thinks it is better than a gtx560ti.
so whats peoples thoughts on the spec will it run bf3 and med-high settings and get decent fps?
Thanks in advance ;)

Your spec looks pretty good for your budget so there is not really much else you can do but i would reccomend spending an extra £13 and getting a corsair 650W PSU as these are normally enough to cover the top end GPU's that are out so could come in handy if you decide to upgrade the GPU during the life of the machine.

The 6950 and the 560ti are similar cards, they should be able to handle medium settings easily. Anything more im not sure on as it's not something i have ever really looked into.

For your budget you are probably spot on spec wise. About as good as you can get, you would be looking at spending another £100 to get the next step up.

soo instead gettin a gtx 560ti should i get the next one up and get a gtx 570 or radeon 6970 instead so the newer games that come out my the card will be able to keep up with them better?

if i can get the extra £100 together to get it that is tho :s.

It's tough to say, with a new generation of cards coming out at the end of this year or first quarter next year. The 560ti is a very good card for the money and will serve you perfectly well for medium specs at the moment. A 560ti is like the sweetspot of the Nvidia range very good performance for a very good price compaired to 570's and 580's. Really it comes down to how many fps you think is playable, if you want 60+ fps get a 580, if you are happy to stick with 30-45 on lower than ultra settings then a 560ti is a perfectly able card.

As suggested by Fear, if you upped the PSU to the corsair one you would have plenty of spare capacity to add in a top end card in the future should you wish to do so.

so if i get 560ti and then say get another 560ti down the line for a boost in graphics performance would that be a better idea? and i will change the psu aswell

The 560Ti and the 6950 should be comfortable to high settings or near max depending the game and settings. They are both good cards. the 6950 is a little better in performance.

Specs are good, definately go for a good quality psu like the corsair. power supplies usually gets overlooked alot for a good decent spec as this.

If you added a second 560Ti down the road, you may need to up the psu 750w and secondly a SLI ready motherboard.

The board you chose isnt SLI ready as it doesn't have an extra slot to support it.

awesome so made some adjustments, based on all the brilliant feedback from you guys, to make it more cheaper for when i do decide to add the 2nd gpu in a year or so. (unless i happen to win the lottery xD)

so would you say this spec is good now?
