Looking for new gaming laptop

hi all

looking for new laptop for gaming, my 3 yrs old dell xps 1530m died last week. i played COD MW2 no probs on xps but struggled with black ops when i tried it,i also play second life,so i am now looking to buy a new lappy that will cope with these type of games, dont want to pay PC world prices, any suggestions on the spec i need would be appreciated

I was asking as it it a LOT. If you don't want it the suggestion about is perfect for you. (Do seagate make 1tb versions of those hybrids).

hi wozza, been looking at config you recommended, am really interested in buying, have few questions 1st

1- is this upgrade of the 17.3" Optimus II ?
2- my old xps got real hot during gaming,which eventually was its down fall when the graphics card fried, what sort of cooling does this one you have recommended come with ? will it come with all the power/heat its going to kick out ?
3- is price inc vat ?

it should be ok, the models PCS have are usually well cooled,i dont remember seeing it, but if you phone up you can asked for the good thermal paste which will improve cooling, i think its £9 usually
