Been out of PC gaming and Flight Sim for a long time!

Would these specs be OK for the upcoming FS2020 running at a decent/ideal setting?

Don't really want to go much further than £2K.

It all comes down to budget and the spec of your monitor that you plan to use. The spec @Nursemorph is top notch (apart from the SSD but then I am a Samsung snob 🤣 )

The key is top settings at 1080p. Resolutions are not created equal and thus need different power. The ideal/high settings quoted from M$ more refer to the resolution than anything else.

You can have ANY GPU on its knees with unrealistic settings. If you have in mind that the high spec recommendation for FS2020 is for 4k gaming, you won't go wrong.

2070 Super with a 1440 monitor is going to be significantly better than any 1080p setup. The fidelity alone with the resolution will make the 1080p look silly.
