Whilst waiting for my custom build, I was on here a lot checking for other peoples experiences and wait times. They were very helpful and reassuring to an excited person pretending to be patient! Here is my chronological experience:
18th November - Processed at about 2 am Wednesday morning. I stayed up till the early hours choosing a build.
24th November - After 5 working days it goes into preproduction.
(Amendments - on Wednesday 18th November i changed the case and on Saturday 21st November I changed the GPU)
3rd December - after 12 working days it came out of preproduction and into building. A few hours later it enters ‘In Testing’. This was accurate from the lead time estimates and the calls I had with PCS.
4th December, I woke up to receive a text from PCS advising that its been dispatched. QC had been completed, and i assume this was done the day before as the Dispatched status showed immediately after QC on the 4th.
5th December - my PC miraculously arrives…… on a Saturday??? I did not pay extra for this so I assume DPD are trying to get rid of stuff before Xmas. This meant it arrived before the 14th working day. Amazing!
The PC is a total beast, cable management is lovely and the Benq monitor & peripherals were all stacked nicely in the delivery box.
I could not be happier. My girlfriend...not so much.
Price - 10/10
Customer Service - 10/10
Web support & tracking - 9/10
Final product - 10/10
In regards to customer service, I spoke to PCS twice, once during preproduction where I made a query regarding if amendments, they very helpful and friendly. 2nd time I spoke with them I rang on 2nd December (11th working day) during pre-production to (humbly- given how busy they are) query if everything was in stock and get an idea of the build time. Again very friendly and informative.
As is often the case, a large amount of people who log on to review products online have a grievance or issue needing to be resolved, as many happy customers simply crack on. So take this from me, I had an amazing experience with PCS and would recommend them to anyone without hesitating.
