Need help setting up pc

Hi guys,

I just received my desktop today which is great, the only problem is setting it up. I'm completely new to having a custom desktop and need advice.

So in my welcome pack I have a bunch of cables and wires etc but im not sure if that means I have to install them myself. I know it may seem stupid to the experts out there but im terrified at the prospect of messing with the desktop.

So far ive installed the wifi antennas, which is whats said in the welcome book but im not sure if I need to do anything more or whether these are spare parts for the desktop

All you need is the power cable to connect the PC to the plug socket, then attach the monitor with a monitor cable (preferably display port) and keyboard / mouse / whatever else you normally use and that should be it.

All the other cables in your welcome pack are spares for the PSU and other spares. You may need them later on when it comes to upgrading so do keep hold of them.

Can you post your full specs from the order page just in case there’s something unusual I’m missing out?

Apologies for the late reply and thank you for such a quick response. I've done as you've said with simply attaching the monitor cable and power supply and it's been working fine.

Looking back on the welcome book, it does explain that the welcome pack will come with spare parts that weren't used in building (in my blind panic I must have misread it)
