Need quick help please ! The 14" SkyFire IV or The 15.6" Cosmos II !

Hello !
I'm kinda stuck between those two laptops and i need some quick advice please, as far as searched there isn't much reviews of the skyfire so i'm leaning a bit to the Cosmos.
So here is what i think right now :
The skyfire is cheaper, smaller and has the gddr5 gtx 850m which a little bit faster than the gddr3 (and also thanks to the low price i can go as far as to get it with the i7-4710mq). the one thing that worries me is the cooling, which i fear isn't quite that good in this one especially due to the size.
And concerning the Cosmos i've only read good reviews about it so far, it's size is ideal for me and there is also the fact that it can support two drive along with the dvd player. (and due to budget issues i can't afford the i7 in this one)
And i know that with this configuration the laptop is bottlenecked by the gpu before it began drawing full power from the cpu (i'm talking about gaming which i will mainly use the laptop for).

Either chassis should be fine with cooling. They wouldn't allow you to put components in that will make it overheat.

What's your intended use and budget?

If you can only afford the skyfire with an i7-4710mq then go with that. You'll have double the amount of cores

I will use it mainly for gaming, and my budget is 900 euros max ! So cosmos with i7 is a no go.
I know i should go with the skyfire with i7 4710mq it's tempting if had only found some reviews about it x-)
I've read in a review that with the gtx 850m, having i5-4210m or i7-4710mq will change little to nothing when it comes to gaming performance. What do you think ?

Depends on the game, as games are starting to use more cores the best choice is an i7 since the mobile version of the i5 only has 2 cores. if you are spending so much on a laptop I would try to save a bit more and get the i7 or you could get a pretty high end desktop for that budget.

I believe the Skyfire IV is the same chassis as the MSI GE40 so maybe a search on that for chassis comments might help you?

Other than that I would echo the comments on trying to get the best spec for processor for gaming as it will see you father in the long run.

Too bad the skyfire is no longer available, i guess i'm going to stick with the cosmos
