New Desktop having Wireless problems.

Hi. so i bought the prebuilt enigma home premium computer on thursday and since then i have had an awful time trying to get my internet connection set up. i bought a new belkin router and belkin USB adapter to go with it. they work great in my other machines but when i use it on the enigma i have all sorts of problems. my connection randomly drops or my speed drops to 1mbps. also when i try to play world of warcraft i get latency issues randomly. sometimes i can play a couple of hours fine then my latency can shoot up into the thousands and my whole internet bogs on my computer only.

anyone at all have and idea if this issue is with the PC? its now the 16th and the problem still persists. its making online gaming impossible for me. really would appreciate some help.

thanks for the link but that thread doesnt apply to me as i dont have a wireless card from you guys so there are no antennas to plug in. and i dont think its my belkin usb dongle because that works fine in another machine.

Have you got the latest drivers & software install for the USB dongle from Belkin? Might be worth checking their website to see if there are any updates.

can you tell us what os your other pc has, and the model of the belkin router and dongle.

as far as i can tell my dongle is up to date, as is the firmware on the router.
the model of my USB is N150 F6D4050 and the router is F7D1301.
the other pc's OS's the dongle works on are Windows 7 and one is Windows Vista.
