Well, the GT610M will be slower in most games than the integrated HD4000 (though the driver support may be better).

Something like a GT-640M would allow you to play most (not quite all) current games at low settings (some on higher settings, depends on the game). The GT-650M or better would play just about anything currently out but maybe that's not a concern for you?
