Bit of a bump from a very old post. The time has finally come to put this old rig out to pasture. It still runs like a dream nearly 11 years later but I am having to upgrade my cameras - so this brings the need for updated hardware to process the new file types and in turn need to update the software.
Would anyone be able to check this or recommend a spec for me? Budget is £1500

I am way, way out of the loop with PC hardware nowadays. Im looking for a rig that will run the latest photoshop and lightroom. Those two apps are its primary function and very little else would be required (no games or video). No need for monitors or peripherals.
Other things that are desireable -

- Space/dock for my old HDD to bring in all the old files/use as backup
- Dual screen output on the video card (2 x hdmi)
- Wireless Lan card - currently using an old USB dongle (it might still work)
