Optimus V 13.3" screen advice

Hi all

Been toying with the Optimus 13.3" for a while now and looking to actually order one

Question is which screen to go with. The 1080p or the 3k.

The laptop will have a mix of uses - 1 - gaming and 2 - I'm a professional designer so photoshop etc is a must

Which should I choose? As the price difference is small?

I'm worried that games may not look great running below native res on the 3k

Also am I better going for a higher end dual core i7 or a lower end quad core i7

Any other advice appreciated

I'd go with a low end quad core i7, less max frequency but more cores will mean much better performance for photoshop etc, and for some games too.

Can't comment on the screen, best to get feedback from someone who owns it.

What is your budget? I would assume 3k would be good for Photoshop and the choice of cpu depends on your budget. I would go with a 4 core processor

What I've speced up comes to the £800 area which is about my max - have a Lenovo x1 carbon 2014 to sell which will fetch around that - I like to keep it around 13-14" area in size as well.

The screen is only £15 extra for qhd...

Also may be worth mentioning I was planning on running windows 7 on it as I already have a copy
