Drivers are from Clevo's site.
Windows is from a friend but works perfectly for him.

You do have a license for this copy of Windows from your friend?

Have you tried installing Windows and allowing Windows update to find the relevant drivers? That seems to be the best technique with Windows 10.

Well I did it by myself from device manager It didnt even find most of them. Guess its the same. I will try a new tactic installing the drivers only from pcs download section. Not from DVD or from clevos site. Probably my last attempt.

I have this issue as well with the same model laptop, but I've got Win10 Educational version. I got sent some driver updates from the guys at PC Specialist after phone calling them.

Did they work?
Or you still get the same error?

they reduced the frequency of the problem, but not the root. I have gone to the Clevo website (after someone suggested it in the topic I made for this problem) and downloaded and installed the drivers from there. If that solves the problem I'll let you know.

It seems i found a temporary solution for the crash.
I installed only Chipset, WLAN, Fingerprint,VGA,Bluetooth,Audio.. drivers on a clean install of windows.I left the GTX Driver on 354.00 version (359.00 is the newest)
I tried alt+tabbing from LoL and back and after first game it finally didnt crash. So it seems promising.
The drivers are from PCS site download section :) Not sure for how long it will work but at least works for now.

I also have this problem. Will downgrade the GPU driver and see what that does. It seems to crash most of the time when I'm accessing the GPU. Say, when I don't use the GPU for some time, because of the Nvidia Optimus it turns the GPU off and when I open GPU intensive software like Open Broadcaster or any recording software that uses the GPU adapter the laptop will crash with the same error (DRIVER_STATE_FAILURE). Let's see if it works, if not then I believe either a different laptop from PCS or a return of this laptop would be considered.

If it does then I would like to know if PCS updates any of the GPU driver on their site?

The PCS download section seems to be not working by just sending me back to the main page. Does anyone have an alternative link or site to download the drivers?

Downgraded the GPU driver didn't work. Just got another BSOD. I don't know what to do. I really don't want to return this whatsoever but if this keeps happening then I will have to.

So I downloaded the drivers from the manufacturer website, which involved downgrading to an older GPU driver. And since then I've not had a DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE.

Can you please elaborate? Which site? What version of the driver?

I downloaded from the Nvidia site version 353.30, which is the earliest certified version available.
