Hey guys!

I have only one question. Are there any known stock issues with optimus VII
Either hardware or chassis? :)

I ordered mine with the i5 6300 CPU.

Thanks in advance!

How long ago did you order yours lorgyo? Also ordered mine with the i5 CPU. Mine is still showing as 6th working day pre-production.
Might have to do with me tinkering with the order and adding and removing parts nearly every night :p

Seriously though, every morning I wake up to see if the status has been changed to 'In Building'.
Cannot WAIT!

Haha lucky. Good to hear yours has already passed the build stage and they're already testing. Hopefully mine won't take too long...Waiting in anticipation :)

I think PCS should have a mental health warning attached to the pre-production description, it always drives me mad :) Yet once it moves on things always happen quickly. Mine two laptops were 14 and 13 days in total and each was two days or less after buidling had started, so quite happy with that, even if there are no problems with stock there is a bit of luck involved, especially if you order at a busy time.

Hello, I ordered my Optimus VII with i7 Quad Core Processor 6700HQ 11/11 and today is in Pre-Production 11th working day. The guy on live chat said, maybe Monday it will go to production. It just sitting in the queue, all parts are in the stock so finger crossed. I cant wait for it. Fallout 4 is waiting.

Don't know about the i7 stock availability but the i5 CPU is DEFO in stock. 8th working day and this morning I received an email saying my OPTIMUS has been dispatched! Sounds like a record lol. Very happy customer :) as I registered for the Microsoft trade up scheme and only had 14 days from purchase date to submit my claim. Boom boom!

Is it purely for gaming chrobakx? If so the i5 will be just as good as the i7. I was thinking of getting the i7 CPU but it would have been a waste of money in my case as I only want to play some games (fallout 4 :) )and browse the net, so the performance will be unnoticeable. i7 is a nice sticker to have on your laptop though ;)

how do you know this? I have ordered a COSMOS with a 6700hq and it didnt say anything about stock issues?

Not sure if its out of stock or there's limited stock. Seems to be the case though with alot of people who have ordered the i7 CPU. Best to ask PCS.

Yeah same. Both CPU's will be fine in 3 years, hoping for 5 :) Only thing restricting playing the latest games beyond that point will prob be the GPU.
