I think that spec is nice and balanced. The only thing I would personally change is to replace the HDD with the Caviar Black 1TB. May use up a little bit more power but I would personally want the boot drive as fast as possible, maybe having the green drive as a 2nd HDD

Looks pretty good to me, I'd rather have the Caviar Green for a quieter computer though.

This is a good point. The Caviar Black might be fast but it is a very noisy drive. On an OS such as Windows 7, which is always performing tasks such as indexing files, it's almost always audible. The Caviar Green is almost silent. (I have the Black as an internal drive and the Green as an external backup drive and the Green is still quieter even when outside the case).

Comes down to personal preference really.

From what I have read in the Computer shopper magazine both Green and black are both not very good drives at all.

Green:
Might save you a little power but its inconsistent performance makes the Cavier Green 1TB a hard disk to avoid.

Black:
Not convinced that the inconsistant speed improvements of the SATA lll hard disk are worth its performance.

I just copied the summarys verdict thats all from PC stopper.

Will it be good for me oh? Seen as I assume these people that do reviews for them attempt to put them through the limit and I mean as long as it performs better than the regular hard drives I should be fine and worth the money?

Nothing wrong with the Caviar Green drive, got one in mine and works pretty well :) Definitely better than my old system. Boots quick enough for my liking and is pretty quiet.

Yep, that spec will be fine for gaming, mines similar, slightly more powerful CPU and a Nvidia GTX470 instead of ATI and it eats through every game going at the moment :) You won't have a problem.

Quite annoyed apparently I have to pay £19 extra for delivery cause of the Scottish Highlands, and the funny thing is I don't even live in the Highlands! I live in UK Mainland I live 10-20 miles out from the highlands.

I'm judging weather I should buy it now cause that kind of thing has really annoyed me.

Our couriers DHL give us a list of post codes and they charge us more to deliver to these postcodes. If you postcode falls into one of these then there is nothing we can do unfortunately.

Well thanks for the notice, I'd ring Customer support up earlier but I've decided to buy it.

WOW :D

On a serious note it's actually a great spec!

Thanks,

Although I'd like to know weather to save a little bit of cash and go for the case before the current one? Cause I'm not sure if it'll make that much of a difference.

The coolermaster elite 310 is a great case but it doesn't have any LED's, just go for whichever one you like the look of more.

So do you think it would make sense to downgrade the case?

I think it's a very subjective matter that you need to decide for yourself, I personally think the T900 looks better so would stick with it but if you prefer the elite 310 or don't really mind the look of either then the downgrade would make sense.
