I pretty much only have basic knowledge on computer builds.

I want a good computer for photo and video editing as the main goal. But if I were to have time and the right computer I would undoubtedly start gaming as much as time will allow. I really want a computer that will make it as easy as possible to work with video and never slow me down.

I'm not even sure about the motherboard. I read somewhere that gaming specs are pretty much the same for video editing, so is always a safer bet. If someone could please have a look at it. I think I couldn't get the wireless adapter because the motherboard already comes with WiFi inbuilt. But I think I've missed out on Bluetooth because of that. Not absolutely necessary but would be nice to have.

Don't worry about bluetooth, as they motherboard already has that too (Bluetooth v5.3, along with Wifi 6E).

However, it would help if you could post your config including the configurable link at the bottom, and budget, to help the volunteers reconfigure/advise if/as needed.

But straight away I'd say you're gonna need a bigger boat cooler for that volcano of a CPU, and I'd suggest that case will only compound the problem. The case also limits the options for a bigger/better AIO liquid cooler. The Corsair 5000D is a popular choice...but that then requires you to use an external BLU-RAY/DVD solution.

We'd also normally suggest keeping you OS/Apps drive separate from your scratch and working files, so that you don't lose everything if the system becomes unstable...something like a 512GB Firecuda or Samsung 980 Pro. Then keep the 4TB Firecuda as the second M.2.

If the intention is to eventually/occasionally game, then I'd suggest a higher power PSU, as some of the current CPUs/GPUs are pulling huge loads for milliseconds and causing instability/crashes...so I'd not want to go below a 850W for a video processing machine that may be running full pelt for a few hours at a time.

Finally, for now, I'd suggest you want the fastest RAM your motherboard can handle (or that PCS offers)...this would be 64GB of 6000MHz RAM, but I don't see it on the configurator. Whether this is down to stability issues or just supply chain issues I cannot say...but you should be able to ask PCS this directly when they're open tomorrow.

I will ask for the case to be changed to Corsair 5000D so I later have the option to upgrade to a better AIO liquid cooler. And will go with the 500GB Samsung 980 Pro as first and 4TB Firecuda as second M.2.

Will also go with the 850W PSU.

I am not going to be maxing it out any time soon, don't think I will need a liquid cooler just yet. I don't want to waste money buying parts that won't last long for my usage. I'm already bordering on my budget. Lol. but this way I will have the option. It would seem I can't save the changes just yet because I have already purchased this and the sound blaster is no longer available. Lol. I will contact PCS tomorrow when they open. I didn't know how to use the forum before purchasing.

I would advise against the Audigy FX card anyway, you won't get any benefit from it for your uses. Below are the changes I would suggest. The case is more expensive but it does allow for your internal drive.
