Processor stock question.

Hi PCS,

My Vortex III has zipped through pre-production (only 2 days!) and into building. The status says it is built, but I have an email this morning (16th) saying that the Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Mobile Processor i7-3740QM (2.70GHz) 6MB is out of stock. However, I went on to the config and spec'd up a new Vortex III with the same processor, and selected fast track (3 day) delivery. It did not tell me it was out of stock doing this.

My question is - what is the availability of this processor?

ya best to give PCs a bell mate, would be the fastest way to get an answer.

Looks like the builder accidentally ticked the CPU as being out of stock then unticked it. Your orders on the shelf waiting to go into testing.
